Conveyor Components
General Industrial
Bryant has long been closely associated with the conveyor
industry as a manufacturer of conveyor components
including Telescoperฎ take-ups, heavy
and light duty rollers, machined pulleys and formed tapered
rollers and pulleys for both unit and bulk materials.

In expanding and enhancing our conveyor component product lines we have developed an array of
manufacturing technologies. We invite potential clients
in other industries to leverage our design and
production expertise for your component and outsourcing
needs.

Fabricating:
Press work, plasma cutting, welding of carbon, aluminum
and stainless steel, production sawing and de-burring of
carbon, stainless, aluminum and thermoplastic tubing and
pipe
Assembly: Bryant currently offers a wide
spectrum of mechanical and hydraulic assembly
capabilities. In the course of our work in the conveyor
industry we have developed considerable expertise in
mating precision steel components using welding,
induction heating and extreme cold, mating most grades
of thermoplastics, and the assembly and testing of
hydraulic power systems. Through a combination of
in-house labor and associations with handicapped labor
both on and offsite, we are able to offer cost
effective, high quality solutions to both low volume
specialized work and repetitive assembly of high volume
components.
AirFormฎ Tube Reduction Technology: Unlike
rotary swaging, mandrel spinning and hydro-forming,
AirForm requires no hard tools, no mandrels or dies and
no part or geometry specific tooling, offering the
designer extraordinary latitude in formed tube design.
Free from costly tooling burdens and the limitations of
swage dies and interior spin mandrels, designers can
produce shapes not possible with competing methods, and
develop straight tapers of new taper angles without the
expense and lead time of tooling charges.
Since there is no mandrel to extract from a finished
part and the part is not passed through a straight
tapered die, parts with concave profiles, trapezoidal
crowns, multiple crowns on the same parts, and parts
with compound tapers or back-to-back reverse tapers can
be readily formed. AirForm does as the name implies
parts to be formed are suspended by their ends and the
shape is then free formed into the tube while the tube
is suspended in air.
We can produce in low carbon, stainless steel and
aluminum. We currently produce in diameters from 1.5 to
10 and in wall thicknesses to .156
Products produced tapered rollers and pulleys for
conveyor applications, point, trapezoidal and arc
crowned conveyor pulleys, precision class end rolls for
treadmills, decorative tubular steel table legs, center
posts for office chairs, specialty aluminum baseball
bats, race car struts, decorative ash trays and stands.

CNC Machining: Bryant has developed
considerable expertise and capabilities in both vertical
and horizontal CNC machining. Our equipment is of the
latest technologies, offering the highest levels of
precision, programming flexibility, repeatable quality
and surface finishes.
Lathes: Slant and flat bed lathes, bar
feed capabilities for educed labor costs, live tooling
which permits milling and drilling operations with
secondary machining and set-ups diameters up to 14
with face widths to 60 sub .001 TIR capabilities
with shaft tolerances down to .0006 finishes to 16
RMS.
Vertical machining centers: We have a
variety of single and dual station CNC machining
centers. Our dual station centers allow gang-fixturing
of higher volume parts or the simultaneous run and load
of more complex parts.
All of our CNC equipment is augmented by a number of
late model manual machines.
Materials: We have experience in working
with low carbon steels, specialty alloy high-strength
steels, both 300 and 400 stainless steels, aluminum and
various grades of thermoplastics.
Products Produced - Conveyor Pulleys precision grade
(.005 - .020) TIR and ultra high precision (.001 -
.004) TIR - high precision rolls print rolls, web
feed rolls, high end, precision class tread-mill rolls.
We work with all grades of carbon steel, stainless and
aluminum. Rollers can be supplied plain or with our
proprietary Durathane lagging, a cost effective
alternative to rubber coatings that offers far greater
durability. This urethane coating is available in 70 and
85 durometer.
