The Telescoper® take up from Bryant Products is
the only take up that offers a true protected adjusting
mechanism, and it is the only take-up that can meet the
special challenges presented by the harsh, dusty
environment of quarries and cement plants.
Only the Telescoper can provide easy adjustability for
the long term and the ability to change bearings quickly
and avoid the use of specialized take-bearings. The
Bryant telescoping tube design provides two distinct
layers that completely enclose the central adjusting
rod.
Conventional take-ups just are not suited for the
aggregate industries. All open frame and “protected
screw” type take-ups feature adjusting rods that are
open to the environment, and, therefore, subject to
freeze-up due to corrosion and dirt impaction.
Telescopers are not vulnerable to freeze-ups and we
warrant all Telescopers for two years against
freeze-up – five when purchased with the optional
grease zerk and the system is used properly. |

Bearing replacements are not a problem for the
Telescoper. Telescopers use standard pillow block
bearings, not take-up bearings, and they are easily
accessible. There is no need to disassemble the frame or
match the slot width of the take up frame to a particular brand
of take up bearing with a compatible slot width.
